Sheridan County Appraisal Office - Appraisal Clerk

The Sheridan County Appraisal office is currently seeking applications for a full-time appraisal clerk. It is preferred the applicant have experience relating to a modern office environment, technical skills relating to computers, and the ability to work independently and exercise initiative and good judgment. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public are a must. The job involves both inside office and outdoor work. The applicant is required to have a valid Kansas Driver’s license.

This position will include full-time benefits including health insurance (employee pays 5% of the premium and 100% of dental), sick and vacation leave, and KPERS retirement. The position will remain open until successfully filled. A resume will be accepted along with the application.

Sheridan County Communications is accepting applications for full- and part-time dispatch positions. Positions can include 12-hour shifts and the number of working days in a month for full-time is about 15.

Without experience, the starting wage is $15.00/hour. Pay is negotiable based on experience.
